Multi Cyclone are a matrix of small cyclones with common inlet, outlet and dust discharge.Universal Multi Cyclone delivers high collection efficiency upto 8 microns they are available in a range of 6” to 10” diameter. Universal  Multi Cyclone has an unique design with respect to Inlet/Outlet proportions, collection cyclones spacing and discharge silos thereby facilitating uniform gas distribution and proper flow to each individual collecting cyclone for maximum design efficiency.

Universal recommends smaller diameter cyclones for critical particulate separation as it delivers higher collection efficiency on account of the higher centrifugal force applied to the dust particles with decreasing diameters of the cyclone.

The other three major design factors that contribute to the collection efficiencies are proper gas distribution, draft loss and particulate size. (specific gravity)

The inlet guide vanes are specifically designed for maximum centrifugal action for the gas entering the cyclone on its spiraling path down the cyclone towards the dust discharge points thereby increasing the collection efficiency of the Multi Cyclones.
